H.E. Ms Rezina Ahmed

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

Ms Rezina Ahmed is Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Portugal and concurrently accredited to the Republic of Cape Verde, Republic of Guinea Bissau and Republic of Mozambique.

Ambassador Rezina Ahmed is a career diplomat, belonging to the Bangladesh Civil Service (Foreign Affairs). In her illustrious diplomatic career, she served in Bangladesh Missions in Canberra, Moscow, Yangon in different capacities. She also served as the Consul General of Bangladesh in Milan and as High Commissioner in Mauritius with concurrent accreditation to the Union of the Comoros, Republic of Seychelles and Republic of Madagascar.

In Bangladesh, she served in different wings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and attended different training courses at home and abroad; and represented Bangladesh in many bilateral and multilateral meetings.

Ambassador Ahmed completed her Bachelor and Master's of Social Science degree in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and watching movies. In her personal life, Ms Ahmed is married and blessed with two children.
