Documents required for new passport application for child:

Printed copy of the passport application that has been submitted online; http://passport.gov.bd/

Two copies of colour photographs with white background (55 mm × 45 mm);

NID or Birth Registration Certificate (must be available online);

In case of the children (under 15 years), the below mentioned additional documents will be required:

• Bangladeshi Birth Registration Certificate (if child was born in Portugal, please apply for a Birth Registration Certificate at the Embassy. Please see “Birth Registration Certificate” tab for more details)
• Photocopy of Portuguese Birth Certificate. (if child was born in Portugal)
• Passport copies of the parent/s.
• Photograph of the parent/s (if the applicant is under 15 years) (30mm x 25mm size)

Service hours:

On all working days, i.e., Monday to Friday, except holidays:
Receiving of documents and passports: 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
Delivery of documents and passports: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Postal service: 

Applicant can avail the postal service only to receive the passport. He/she will need to send an envelope with own address written on it, old passport (exception for lost passport case), original delivery slip along with postal fee of Euro 4.00.
