General information for Power of Attorney:

Citizens of Bangladesh can avail the service of Power of Attorney at the Embassy. Please see the “Tab” titled “Forms” at this website to download sample copy of “Power of Attorney” along with guidelines by the government;

Processing of the Power of Attorney requires minimum 03 (three) working days;

The Embassy does not have any agent for processing power of attorney documents (and for that matter, visa, travel permit or for any other consular service). The service seekers are advised to get in touch with the Embassy direct for all kinds of service.

Process of “Power of Attorney”:

1. Submit two sets of your required documents
2. Pay the applicable fees by card payment at the counter
3. Fees €55 for the first 5 pages, plus €5 for each additional page.
4. Receive a cash receipt upon submission of your documents and payment.
5. After document review, sign the documents in the presence of the Embassy Authorize officer.
6. You will be notified when your Power of Attorney is ready for collection at the counter or for postal delivery if you provided a pre-paid envelope.

Documents required for “Power of Attorney”:

1. Original Power of Attorney (02 set);
2. Passport copy of the power giver, passport/NID of the receiver. Applicant also needs to present his original passport at the counter;
3. 02 copies of colour photographs of both power giver and receiver (white background);

Service hours:

On all working days, i.e., Monday to Friday except holidays:
Receiving of documents and passports: 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
Delivery of documents and passports: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Postal service:

Applicant can avail the postal service only to receive the documents. He/she will need to send an envelope with own address written on it, original money receipt along with postal fee of Euro 4.00. by post after the submission of the document. He/she can also submit the postal fee and envelope at the counter along with the “Power of Attorney” documents at the same time. For postal service, the following address may be used:
